Choosing a square planter that lasts
Two planters that look the same can differ in details you cannot easily see: wall thickness and how the planter is made — cast in one piece or glued from PVC panels. These guides help you choose:
Why choose Furnio square planters?
- Cast in one piece, no joints: walls and base are a single piece, with no glue lines at the corners to separate over time.
- Waterproof-coated interior: water and damp soil do not seep through, so the outside stays clean and floors stay unstained.
- Thick walls, stable with large plants: large square planters often hold tall plants on windy balconies and rooftops, so we make the larger sizes with thicker walls.
- Light and easy to move: far lighter than concrete, ceramic or terracotta — practical for high-rise balconies and rooftops.
- Weatherproof: fiberstone does not crack and its UV-resistant finish keeps its color outdoors.
- Made to order: the right size, color and quantity for each project.
Colors
Besides grey, black and white, we offer many terrazzo tones. Pick a color from the chart to match your space:
Where to use them
Square planters work indoors and out: indoor plants, garden landscaping, balconies and rooftops, café entrances, lobbies and offices. Placed side by side, they form a neat, continuous line of green.
